From Idea To Triumph: the Secret of Successful Companies
Apple, Tesla, Toyota, Coca-Cola… these are companies that are known by all of us, and yet they started like many others, as start-ups.
Now the question is WHAT did they do to become what they are today? Would there be a path that could be followed, some lessons that can be learned from such journeys?
I’m sure yes, and that’s what I’ve been searching for lately.
And here are the secrets…
Well, wait a minute, I won’t tell you anything that can be found publicly. I’m not a Snowden of this world, and neither have I worked in those companies, but I’ve been reading A LOT about them and wanted to look for similarities.
Turns out I’m not the only one that has been doing that. I mean, come on, we’re 8 billion people on Earth, why would I be the only one asking myself those questions?
Anyway, turns out that I actually found a book that talks not about 5, 7, or 9 but about 12 companies that have made it to the stars! Why 12? I don’t know, you should ask the writer! Haha
So I’ve spent 5 hours reading this book that you can find here and here is the Anatomy of Success:
- 1: Adaptability: Being able to adapt to change is a survival skill: market shifts, technological advancements, and changing consumer preferences.
For example, Apple has transitioned from revolutionizing mobile technology to successfully entering the wearable market with AppleWatch
- 2: Innovation: The best companies are innovators, constantly challenging the status quo and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
For example, Google has innovated the way we access information and also driven advancements in various tech domains.
- 3: Leadership: The epicenter of success is visionary leadership. They cultivate a culture of inspiration, encouraging the employees to contribute their best with a sense of purpose.
For example Tesla and Elon’s visionary and challenging goals. Elon with his leadership is capable of spreading the sense of mission within the company and the employees: the wellbeing of humanity.
I’m not going to summarise the 150 pages of the book, but I must say that if you’re into learning some fun facts and interesting moves of big and successful companies, it’s a very easy-to-read book/ebook!
She goes through the path of 12 companies, from their beginning to now with the key aspects that have made them succeed.
Don’t expect to read some Shakespeare or Ken Follet, it’s not that kind of book, but it’s very enjoyable.
So here is the book by the well-known writer Lara Hasse :
Beyond Excellence: Unveiling the Secrets of the 12 Best Companies

Having said that, take care, and happy reading!
