From a Grateful Heart

A Poem

I’m so grateful for the time with my kids yesterday

For dinner and bonding time without interruptions

For walks and talks, and getting to know people better

For the ability to hear and listen & be present

For the ability to disconnect from the not important, to be fully present for the important

The Generous Present Moment

So grateful for the creativity that has come from being myself, accepting and honoring my own self-worth

Embracing the here and now, instead of the maybe one day

Stopping the comparison game, and really not caring what other people think

I’m listening better to my energy and my body

Is what we are doing life-affirming? Life-giving? Or is it a soul suck?

Grateful for the authenticity comes from owning our own power

For the energy and creativity that comes from within

I will no-longer live from a place of fear but from gratitude and love
