From 0 to 4 Figures in 6 Months: The No BS Book of Success On Medium

If someone like me could do it, so can you!

I joined Medium having no idea what it was. I was desperate, ill, and jobless. I was writing because I had no idea what else to do.

The only thing I was sure of was that life has thrown so much bs my way that ‘NO BS’ was going to be my new motto.

I came here naked: I’m not a native speaker, I’ve never written before outside of a few blog articles with 0 followers and some childhood journal pages. I didn’t have a huge following somewhere else that I could hoist to the platform and I was hella depressed.

I had nothing better to do. I started writing like a maniac and studying what works and doesn’t work on this platform.

I read everything, tested most of it, took what worked, and reapplied it.

I could see steady growth month after month, so I knew it was working. From April (my first month) to August (my 5th month) I grew from $11.92 to $554.80.

Given the steady growth, I was hoping to get to $1000 by December but did lose a bit of hope seeing how many of my fellow writers were complaining of low views in September.

My stats were normal, with a slight increase, and then they suddenly exploded. They exploded so hard that I reached the 4-figure mark by the 20th of the month. And then just kept going.

Honestly, I can tell you from the bottom of my heart that I didn’t expect it to happen so soon. The stats for September overwhelmed me, flattered me, and made me happy beyond belief.

But they also unexpectedly humbled me, knowing that no matter how successful you are one month, the next you can be right back down in the gutter. So I don’t take my success lightly.

But I do take it with champagne and a good dose of jumping around for joy! Celebrate every win!

And just as I was writing this article, I just found out I am Top Writer in 9 categories.

With the huge number of views and reads came a huge number of referred members too.

13 new referred members for the month of September! I already had the immense number of 2 members from the previous 5 months (lol), and that all translates to $33.53 a month.

The followers also grew by 806 and the e-mail subscriber numbers by 35. I now have 191 e-mail subscribers and I haven’t even offered any freebies yet. I plan to, though.

That’s my next step for the last quarter of the year, to give people free stuff!

This month I published less than usual but wrote more, and I have a good excuse for that. Don’t we all?

What I have been working on like crazy this month was putting together an e-book made of every method and tool I used to grow my Medium account from 0 to 4 figures and from 0 to 4.5K followers in 6 months.

I finally finished it.

It’s loaded with methods, secrets, and raw truths to help everyone get the same results that I did.

I’m going to have to be honest with you here.

The book is not for the faint of heart.

If you’re squeamish about how the world functions, this book is not for you, and I can’t blame you, I’m not very happy with the ways of the world either.

If you don’t feel like doing the work or don’t have the time or dedication for it, this book is not for you either.

If you’re uncomfortable outside the warmth of what your tribe says it’s ok to be, say or do, again, it’s not for you.

I’m not trying to put you off it. I just care about you and I don’t want you to waste your money on something that doesn’t suit your character, lifestyle, or desires.

This book is for you if you want something that works and works fast. Does the book work for everybody willing to implement its lessons? Absolutely!

You have to leave 1% for chance and bad luck, even though I don’t really believe in them.
