Kareem never forgot Kareena’s kindness, those Kohled black eyes, and that keen look, asking too many questions without expecting any answers.

Kareem’s kiosk at the King’s College cafeteria entrance was ransacked by some hooligans in the night; he was shell-shocked to find the stuff worth a couple of hundred dollars gone.

Knackered with tears brimming over his blue eyes, he was trying to maintain a calm composure when Kareena gently put her knuckles on his shoulders.

“Karma wouldn’t leave them in peace, don’t worry. I’m calling 911.”

Her assurance brought a sense of relief in Kareem, and he gave her a weak smile.

“Knock down the despair, Kareem. We need to stock up the kiosk before lunch break. I have sent a word to get enough students to give you some profit margin,” Kareena added nonchalantly.

Knots in Kareem’s stomach opened up when he saw a red RAM 1500 approaching him. Kareena’s girl gang was yelling at the top of their lungs, inviting everyone to the stellar sale with 20% off.

“Kareena, no words would suffice to express my gratitude.” Kareem turned to her with a heartfelt grin. “Thank you.”

Kareena beamed her radiant smile in acceptance of his thanks.
