Freyja and Her Oat Grass
Girls just gotta have greens
Freyja, Bisou and Uma spend a lot of their time on their “Garden in the Sky,” a balcony I have attempted to turn into a kitty paradise.
In addition to planting native pollinator plants to attract butterflies and bees and hummingbirds into the new environment, I have filled several low, flat terra cotta pots with oat grass and catnip. These pots have turned out to be the biggest hits of the garden.

Plus, it just tastes good!

Freyja’s sister, Uma, sister really loves it too.
