Freedom Is Colorless
But I paint until the permanent uncovering

A blank page. White. I can write whatever I want — as long as I take responsibility — . Is freedom white?
I’ll use black “ink”. I’ll write whatever I want — as long as I take responsibility — . Is freedom black?
I may color the letters. I’ll be a painter with a keyboard instead of brushes. I can paintwrite the way I want — as long as I take responsibility — . Is freedom multi-colored?
The words I’ll use enclose meanings, but meanings are not really colored. I “see” them within real context — and I take responsibility — . Is freedom colorless?
Meanings are invisible and untouchable, but I experience dancing with them, interacting with them, using them to bring obvious and “tangible” results. Is freedom like this?
Freedom can only be experienced. Words, talks, poems about it are like an effort to physically color something invisible. Is it futile?
Awareness of what’s happening during this phenomenally impossible act, uncovers more and more freedom. It’s not futile.
