Freedom

How to free your mind, spirit, and body

Sprung from the bed ready to ride into nature but mother awoke at the same moment she has dementia, and never knows what may come biking this morning looked like a far-fetched dream chimed her back to bed, waiting for her to fall asleep seconds after being sure, she was down for the count jumped on my bike and pedaled as fast as I could feeling the breeze caressing my spirit, freedom I needed time to free the mind so the body would follow being one on one with nature is the best way to flow the stillness in the air and all its freshness like the morning dew falling upon my face saying hello to passers-by, all so friendly a cheery hello makes the heart glad black, white, and brown people, greeted me with a smile their smile delighted my soul, wished every day could be so even birds, ducks, geese, and dogs seem at peace with nature Nature in all its splendor, beautiful to behold humans have strayed from their essence of peace, love, and, togetherness one and all biking awakens the mind to nature’s true splendor rode by bike along the bike path for one hour gosh freedom with nature is priceless would not trade this moment of freedom in all its splendor, no money can buy as the day moves on, heading back home hoping mother remained asleep to prepare for the moments when she awakes no more freedom, every moment filled with her wishes great memories of biking this morning carries me throughout the day, until I return biking is refreshing, cathartic, and freeing.
