Free from the Mind Concepts of Society
The beliefs that I was raised with that I now disagree

Not a straightforward one But many in subtle forms During the formative years The inequality between genders was treated as a common natural occurrence
The lavish treatment of boys in contrast to molding a girl’s mind into a slave Burdening expectations on one Ignoring the nuisance of other
I have seen resistance within me Fighting hard in the extended family Not for me but for others whose voices got dwindled
The next barrier to break was religion Unsaid inequality in unspoken words It was not built in me, but I saw the discrepancy
Fearful minds creating obstacles Forcefully shutting one’s eye Fear can not define what the other is where every heart is made of love
So what if the practices are different So what if language and tradition are unknown Without an open heart, how can we establish And who are we to decide?
Thankfully, I never restricted myself Loving and enjoying life as it comes Like water, I have flowed and renewed No beliefs established No conditioning imprisoned
Experiencing life the way it comes With an open heart, open mind Nothing to judge All I know that everything and everyone deserves all the love
Living with the heart freed me From the mind conceptual society Opening the parachute of love I flew higher and higher!
