Francesinha Is a Typical Portuguese Recipe
This is my favorite food at the moment

Last week I went to a restaurant here in Lisbon de Francesinhas.
The francesinha in its special francesinha sandwich is more commonly made up of sausage, fresh sausage, ham, cold meats, and beef steak, covered with cheese! garnished with tomato, beer, and piri-piri-based sauce and can be served with French fries as an accompaniment.
However, the original recipe is a recipe from French cuisine brought to Portugal for the city of Porto more specifically. A variation on the French recipe “croque-monsieur”.
My experience was wonderful, I had already tasted it once but I shouldn’t have eaten a well-prepared one, so I got the wrong idea about Francesinha.
Last Saturday I decided to give this wonderful dish another chance and luckily I didn’t regret it! It’s wonderful and now it’s one of my favorite dishes and I can only think about eating one again!
I also accompanied it with a craft beer which was a bonus, it was very tasty and very fresh!
