Fragments of Me
A Symphony of Longing
Inhaling the shallow breaths of the city, My thoughts, like tendrils, weave and twist, Converging upon your memory, steadfastly. Within this urban symphony, your essence exists.
The moon, a silver serenade of the night, Sings its celestial song, a melodic refrain. Yet amidst its ethereal glow and gentle light, I find my musings entangled in your domain.
Raindrops fall, stolen from distant seas, Their journey mirroring my longing for you. Each droplet whispers secrets, carried on the breeze, As I’m enveloped by memories, vivid and true
An old tree, frozen in autumn’s frigid hold, Its leaves, once vibrant, now rusted and bold. In its stillness, a reflection I behold, And find myself entwined, as tales unfold.
For in these contemplative moments, I see, In the symphony of thoughts that intertwine, A fusion of you and I, forever entwined, As I think of you, I find fragments of me.
