Let’s roam in our memories to remember some beautiful places

Hello to my lovely poets,

First of all, I am really grateful for all your support. Whenever I published the prompt, I start to get such lovely and beautiful poems from all of you.

The introduction post of the Lifeline poetry contest has reached more than 200 views in just 3 days. More and more people are joining the challenge. So, I am grateful to all of you.

We reached the fourth day of this poetry contest. Today’s theme is all about Travel.

Travel is fun. Since childhood, I am always excited about school trips and vacation trips. I love to travel. I like to go to new and different places and explore different cultures.

For me, Traveling is just like writing. It reduces my stress and anxiety. It does not just make me happy, but it boosts my creativity.

The most important thing that I love about traveling is, it gives you different experiences. I always remember how my childhood trips gave me happy and lovely memories and experiences. I believe, those experiences are my true wealth.

Traveling is an investment that you do for yourself. It will give you lifelong memories to remember.

“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.” ~ Saint Augustine

I like the quote of Saint and it has a really deep meaning. Like every person, every place is different. Every place has its own vibe. When you skip to visit them, you will surely miss out on some great adventures and experiences. So, do travel as much as you can.

Traveling gives you a chance to discover yourself. If you want to know more about yourself then I think you should pack your bags and go on a trip.

If you want to be a great storyteller, traveling will give you so many stories to tell and write. Here, I want to share my favorite quote from Ibn.

“Traveling – it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.” – Ibn Battuta

Wherever I go, I always carry a pocketbook with me. So, that I can pen down my thoughts.

Traveling makes you a better writer.

You will have a chance to know new people and their cultures. When you meet new people, it will help you to create a better and different perspective about life.

Therefore, today’s prompt is

Write a poem about the biggest lesson that traveling has taught you.

Traveling has numerous benefits. However, it works differently for all people.

Traveling gave me a different point of view.

Here’s my response to the prompt,

Traveling is fun,

It’s exciting to visit new places,

That taught me to value little things.

Traveling made me more open,

And it creates hope.

Traveling made me more confident,

And I felt magic when I see those beautiful monuments.

Travel gave me a purpose,

And no longer makes me nervous.

Travel taught me to be patient,

And enjoy the journey,

And never be in hurry to reach the destination.
