You can fall on me When you are unable to walk You can lean on me When you get tired of standing

You can call me at 2 When the world is asleep You can call me at 9 When the world is awake

You can cry in front of me When you feel overwhelmed You can laugh in front of me At your frightening PJs

You can sing to me In your sore throat You can hum with me With your acoustic guitar

You can vent to me About our bad break You can mourn to me About your worst headaches

You can be yourself In front of me You can pretend to be someone else And I will still be there

You can hide things from me And I will try to understand you You can be miles away For you, I’ll always be home
