Masnavi, a six-volume series referred to by many as “The Koran in Persian,” is Rumi’s most famous poem. The series is about 50,000 lines long and teaches Sufis how to find love in God.

Famous Rumi Quotes:-

“Do not feel lonely, the entire universe is inside you.”

“Lovers don’t finally meet somewhere. They’re in each other all along.”

“What you seek is seeking you.”

“You are not a drop in the ocean. You are the entire ocean, in a drop.”

“Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.”

“There is a candle in your heart, ready to be kindled. There is a void in your soul, ready to be filled. You feel it, don’t you?”

Hafez (1325 — 1390) — Persian Sufi Lyric Poet, Ghazals and Spiritual Mystic Poetry depicted as irony and Persian satire, master of using ambiguity in his poems.

Renound for being one of the highest pinnacles of Persian literature. Famous for The Divān of Hafez, a collection of his poems mainly written in Persian, some are in macaronic language (Persian and Arabic) and a completely Arabic Ghazal. No other Iranian poet has been more analyzed and interpreted. No Persian poet can find such a combination of fertile imagination, literary expression, the right choice of silk words and expressions. His poems are memorised, recited and conversed in many Iranian homes.

Famous Hafez Quotes:-

“Greatness is always built on this foundation: the ability to appear, speak and act, as the most common man.”

“How seek the way which leadeth to our wishes? By renouncing our wishes. The crown of excellence is renunciation.”

“We have not come here to take prisoners but to surrender ever more deeply To freedom and joy.”

“Fear is the cheapest room in the house. I would like to see you living in better conditions.”

Kabir(1440–1518) — Indian Mystic Poet and Saint Poetry depicted as ferociousness and ‘Jalal’ expressing the masculine aspect, the overpowering, glory, anger, dignity, majesty.

His writings influenced Hinduism’s Bhakti movement, and his verses are found in Sikhism’s scripture Guru Granth Sahib, the Satguru Granth Sahib of Saint Garib Das, and Kabir Sagar of Dharamdas.

Famous Kabir Quotes:-

“Be quiet in your mind, quiet in your senses, and also quiet in your body. Then, when all these are quiet, don’t do anything. In that state truth will reveal itself to you.”

“The truth of love is the truth of the universe: it is the lamp of the soul that reveals the secrets of darkness.”

“As the bee collecteth honey with great zest, so the fool collecteth wealth.”

“The man who is kind and who practices righteousness, who remains passive against the affairs of the world, who considers all creatures on earth as his own self, he attains the Immortal Being; the true God is ever with him.”

Kabir das || life changing quotes and teachings

I love to take all my spiritual wisdoms, teachings, guidance, understandings and seekings to share in my poetry.

My Soul is Whole I have walked in the darkest terrains and deepest valleys Sat in the pit of despair, confusion and frustration I have wallowed and hailed in the well of misery I have confronted the ghosts of my past Faced demons of my present Envisioned the joys of my future My hidden wounds have opened and bled Misunderstandings and uncertainties shed Uncontrollable tears cascaded down my face Felt the gentle breeze of God’s loving grace Unlocked my spiritual gifts Embraced the light and darkness within Understood the markings of goodness and sin Attained balance, neutrality, peace with no reason to win Mastered the cords of attachment and detachment Maintained an even state of energy flow Risen in all levels of ascension To become an enchanting divine glow
