For the First Time in My Life, I Feel Like I Am Enough

And I truly believe in what I have to offer

This is the 2/14/22 volume of the newsletter I send out every Monday Morning. It’s called Weekly Wonderings and is guaranteed to make your Monday mornings marvelous!

What I am thinking about 🧠

These words you are reading are part of the 56th newsletter I have created and sent out. This means I have been writing Weekly Wonderings for over a year, every single week… 🤯

For those of you who have been here from the beginning, I absolutely adore you. For those of you who are about to join, Derek Zoolander said it best:

You must be really, really, really, ridiculously good-looking and have incredible taste.

I am deeply humbled to share that I am only two subscribers away from 100 people. Yes — that means you have to power to help me achieve my goal by clicking the subscribe button right here.

Jeez, part of me is annoyed that I am sounding rather sales-y right now. But when I think about 100 people reading my (incredibly witty, humorous, riveting…did I mention sarcastic?) thoughts every Monday morning, it puts a huge smile on my face.

It feels right to invite you to join me because I really believe that I can make your Mondays great again! Some people love the deep philosophical musing about life. Others just appreciate the dad jokes.

If you are reading these words, I’ll give you two high fives and a fist bump (virtual of course) if you join me on this grand adventure by subscribing to my newsletter. It would mean the world to me.

Why?

My mission in life is to help other people realize their potential. It’s what gets me out of bed in the morning and is at least 66% of the reason I haven’t checked myself into a Buddhist monastery. The other 33% is that I don’t think bald would be a great look for me.

I like to think that sharing my journey, in all its unfiltered glory, is part of how I can help inspire you to Dare to Dream.

We only get one shot at this grand adventure called life, and I am committed to helping as many people as I can start living a life that truly excites them.

I don’t care if I look stupid along the way.

I don’t care if I flounder and fail and publicly humiliate myself.

Because when I’m old and wrinkled and look like a prune, at least I’ll be a smiling prune.

I’ll know without a doubt in my mind that I gave it everything I’ve got — that I played full out and never settled. And that, my dear reader, will be the greatest feeling in the world.

Right now I am putting everything I’ve got into my coaching business. And to be completely honest, it’s not easy. I’m at a level 11 out of 10 in terms of wanting to help people, yet finding clients is one of the hardest parts of being a young coach.

All of the people I’ve worked with so far have seen great improvements in their life, and this, along with my own experience of working with my own coaches, has shown me the power of coaching.

If you want to upgrade, change, or otherwise improve your life, coaching is the greatest tool I’ve discovered. And it’s for this reason that I want to leave you with a simple call to action.

If you or anyone you care about is less than ecstatic about their current life situation, please let me speak with them!

I am offering a free week of coaching, and I can 100% guarantee that having at least one session with me will help immensely!

I am passionate about helping people face resistance, remove inner obstacles, and improve their health and habits. Send anyone you know (or random strangers you meet on the street) to the coaching page of my website for more details.

Thank you for being here and for putting up with my multiple calls to action. Marketing gurus are probably reading this and shaking their heads at my overzealousness. Normally I’d feel self-conscious about asking so much of you, but for the first time in my life, I truly believe in what I have to offer.

To be honest, I had a good cry while writing this because I finally feel like I am enough.

Getting here took a lot of coaching, introspection, journaling, and some highly intentional use of psychedelics.

Anyways…I love you, I appreciate you, and whatever actions you decide to take, I’m sending love and light your way.

Quote of the week 📜

“Now is the time to get serious about living your ideals. How long can you afford to put off who you really want to be? Your nobler self cannot wait any longer.

Put your principles into practice — now. Stop the excuses and the procrastination. This is your life! You aren’t a child anymore. The sooner you set yourself to your spiritual program, the happier you will be. The longer you wait, the more you’ll be vulnerable to mediocrity and feel filled with shame and regret, because you know you are capable of better.

From this instant on, vow to stop disappointing yourself. Separate yourself from the mob. Decide to be extraordinary and do what you need to do — now.”

An incredible song shared with me by the ever-inspiring Vincent Van Patten.

Do Not Let Your Spirit Wane….if that song title doesn’t speak to your soul I don’t know what will.

Is there ever a convenient time to completely change your life?

That’s it for this week! Join me for weekly inspiration, motivation, and dad humor by becoming a subscriber here!

60% of the time, my newsletter will either make you laugh or teach you something every time!

And yes, that was an anchorman quote.

Have a great week :)

Finally, a huge thank you and shoutout to my brother from another mother, Vincent Van Patten. His support over the past two years, as I’ve thrown away my old identity and started living a life true to myself, is invaluable. I seriously don’t know where I’d be without him and I encourage you to follow his incredible journey as well. You’ll be glad you did.

Obviously, I am biased, but I feel deep down in my heart that the two of us are meant to do big things together! 😁🚀❤️
