The Curse is a slightly Taboo series in that the main character enjoys feasting on menstrual blood. Hence, the only right time is the wrong time!

Eddie Caine came through to me very strongly. I started to write about his peculiar life and he wouldn't let me go, so the story turned into a series. I didn’t heavily plot it at the start, but I found that one part flowed easily into the next. Eddie introduced his friends to me, and before I knew it, I had an intriguing crime story on my hands.

Amazing what fictional characters can do to your brain. I adore how they just take over and almost lead the pen across the paper…

It finished up with thirteen, well you could say fourteen episodes as it actually has two different endings.

The story contains a lot of saucy action. Far more than I usually include in my fiction. I made sure that each chapter had quite explicit activity while attempting to maintain strong characters and an intriguing plot line too.
