Thrifty Words 100 Challenge #17: Drugs and Medication
It’s curious that most physicians have little knowledge of nutrition. I will never, ever take diet or nutrition advice from my general practitioner. She’s slightly chubby and quick to prescribe. She called in a statin drug when my cholesterol ticked up, yet stayed in the normal range. I declined.
I was sad to learn that chemotherapy ravages the digestive biome. Explains the issues my husband has. Doctors offered no related guidance over the past year. Thank you, Amazon, for the quick delivery of probiotics!
