Blooming Greece: A Floral Journey through Santorini, Mykonos, and Athens

During our recent trip to Greece, my family and I were mesmerized by the breathtaking flowers that adorned every corner of the country.

Exploring the picturesque islands of Santorini and Mykonos, we were treated to the sight of flowers blooming against a backdrop of stunning architecture and awe-inspiring views.

Even in Athens, the capital city, we discovered numerous squares and streets adorned with trees and flowers, creating a delightful atmosphere. Monastiraki Square, the Plaka neighborhood, and Anafiotika were some areas where we often stumbled upon beautiful blooms, enhancing the city’s charm.

The experience truly took our breath away. These blossoms’ vibrant colors and delightful scents created a magical ambiance we had never encountered before.

Greece’s diverse climate and geography provide an ideal environment for various plant species to flourish. Greece is home to abundant native flowers, such as bougainvillea, oleander, hibiscus, jasmine, and lavender.

Per Greece is:
