Five Short Rules Of Success To Achieve Everything You Want
I am sure they are going to help you massively.

Let us begin with the rules.
Rule Number 1
I always say that perfection is the enemy of creativity.
Let me share a story.
In 2017, I started a Product Management certificate to learn more about the profession.
In a nutshell, here is product management. I remember product management with this acronym; I am trying to remember where I read it. It goes like this — VSDE.
V stands for vision.
S stands for strategy.
D stands for design.
E stands for execution.
That’s all you need to learn about product management.
However, while taking the course, the instructor said that if your product is too perfect, it means you are too late to launch.
Your competitor is definitely way ahead of you.
You waited along to do a couple of tweaks, which could be done after launching it.
I think he was a director at Amazon and always taught us to ship as soon as possible, make mistakes, learn from mistakes, iterate, and keep shipping.
He also taught me not to wait for a perfect customer.
In reality, a customer does not know what he truly needs.
It’s the product manager who is going to find the pain points and then resolve the issue by launching a new product or a feature in an existing product.
In short, I always prefer progress over perfection.
Rule Number 2
I greatly advocate building tiny, healthy, and sustainable habits. Building a good habit or breaking a bad one at once is impossible.
It’s always better to start with a routine that is easy, flexible, and enjoyable.
By using this basic strategy (easy and enjoyable) routine, I have completed 32 30-day challenges. If you would like to take a look, here is the complete list.
Don’t burn yourself by doing anything, especially a new habit intensely, in the beginning.
If you follow the easier and more enjoyable path, the probability is very high that you will stick to it.
However, it does not mean you don’t make progress.
Read rule number one: always prefer progress over perfection. You can truly achieve anything by consistency by merely doing the minimum.
Rule Number 3
Being a part of the creation process rather than consumption must be more important for personal growth.
Don’t be a spectator all the time.
Excessive consumption can lead to a more passive lifestyle.
Nowadays, distraction is everywhere. There is social media, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, etc., to consume all the data, but there is very little focus on life, which can help you to create more.
Create more
Consume less
Rule Number 4
Always choose purpose over pleasure for great mental health.
Find purpose-driven activities, for example, purposeful reading instead of reading novels all the time.
Try to learn something from the reading, then implement it.
I am not saying goodbye to pleasure; it’s a part of life. But everything in moderation looks great.
Research says that today, the average person watches 450 hours of commercials each year. That’s almost 20 straight days watching the commercials.
Here is a list of purposeful activists; I did all the activities for 30+ days and then shared my experience with the readers. Now it’s your time to pick anything purposeful.
Follow this simple rule.
90% purpose-driven activities
10% pleasure-driven activities
Tip:
Use a cell phone for up to 90 minutes.
Rule Number 5
Discipline is the key to moving ahead in life.
Build a routine and stick to it.
Many days, you might feel like sitting back and doing nothing. It’s time to change it.
It’s the secret ingredient of health, wealth, and inner peace.
Let me ask you something if you are not happy where you are right now. I ask you to sit for one hour, yes exactly 60 minutes, idol, and keep thinking, what is happening and what can you do about it?
It’s a meditation by a sitting idol, no breathing, no posture, nothing but sitting and doing nothing.
You will learn a lot about your brain, and the best part is that you will develop the key ingredient, which is discipline.
Here is a great article to start mediation if you want to do it the traditional way.

Let me know what works for you and what you would add.
