Meet some of my Friends
Five of the Best!
I’d like to thank each of them for their support, friendship and inspiring me in many ways.

When this year started, I would never have dreamed what a rollercoaster it was going to be. During the first six months there were certainly more extreme knocks than highs.
However, one thing that has really lifted me is my writing journey on Medium. And that is down to a few people who have been a big part of it — I have been fortunate to work alongside five of the best people you could hope to know…
I’d like to thank each of them for their support and friendship. They have made my online world a bloody pleasure and inspired me in many ways.
I admire each of them so, in no particular order.
Posy Churchgate
Posy is my partner in crime on Tantalizing Tales. We have actually been firm buddies since 2018 and tend to bounce ideas off each other. I greatly value her support and generosity in all aspects of my life. Without her by my side, I am not sure if I would've had the confidence to launch our publication at the beginning of the year.
Posy is a great editor and writer. Here is one of my favourites from her. It is a story in four parts about a wonderful friendship between Ruby and an elderly gentleman. And of course a secret needs to be uncovered. I really admired the way she created believable and very real characters in this series.
Here’s part one…

Mrs. K
As soon as I started chatting to Mrs K about twenty months ago, I knew I would work with her at some point. We connected pretty quickly, and I think we are akin in some ways. When Tantalizing Tales was set up with a small archive of stories from me and Posy, and ready to go, Mrs K joined us as a kind of in-house writer.
Time moved on and now Mrs K helps us with the editing too. Her writing is alive with visuals and sensual description. I particularly enjoy her historical fiction, such as this stylish piece of erotica.

Liz BlackX
The first thing that drew me to Liz a few years ago was her writing. A kind of honesty seem to illuminate her work, be it fiction or non-fiction. Once we started chatting, I found out this quality was just part of her nature. You will often find that individuality, an extremely admirable quality in my eyes, goes hand in hand with those that value the truth. And Liz is very much an individual.
Liz was also with Tantalizing Tales from the start as in house writer and now helps out with images and editing too. My favourite work of hers is darker fiction. Try this one for size.

Marie A. Rebelle
When I first started blogging seriously, in 2017, Marie was my hero. And do you know what? She still is. Anyone who knows her will understand why. However, she is also now a good friend and colleague. We run a website together all about blogging and writing tips called the Blogable Club. This site is also home to the Fiction Marathon.
Marie is an exceptional writer of anything. All her personal posts are full of personality and emotion, and her fiction is often extremely thought-provoking. Here is one that has stayed in my mind since I first read it in August.

Paul Mansfield
Paul and I stumbled upon each other half-way through the year when writing for publications the other was involved with in some way. The style of some of his flash tales immediately impressed me and in my head kind of validated my own — frequently I tend to get quickly to the point without taking any prisoners. Who needs foreplay? When I saw he was the owner of a Transgressive Fiction publication, that was not very active, I was determined to help him make it a success. And I know we are both proud of how the Redemption Magazine is doing.
Paul is candid and authentic. I admire all areas of his work, writing and photography and his friends Emily (Little Miss Right Now) and Rocky Shores are now my friends too :-)
He’s a prolific writer, here’s one where he paints pictures with his words…
Check out his photographs too.
Happy new year to my inspiring friends above and to all of you reading this. My wish is that 2022 starts a journey back to the real world.

I have a blog too — Sex Matters.
Why don’t you lift a writer you know? Here’s how to do that…
