I must admit I had some mis-givings about the short form story, principle of which was a potential reduced readership time. As we all know, these days Medium financially rewards reading time. The less time reading, the less money. However, then I started to see the enormous benefits of this new initiative.
Yesterday I was in a shopping mall walking past a bakery. Outside was a young girl with a tray of samples offering passersby a free taste. A certain percentage of those who tried went inside the bakery and bought something more substantial.
