Here is a simple formula that will alleviate a huge portion of the problems and anxieties you face as a human being living in the 21st century.
Of course, your food, shelter, and security needs come first, but if you are reading this at your leisure, then I am presuming those needs are well met.
The formula is this:
Fitness + Meditation + Sobriety + Consistency = A better life
Do not underestimate the formula’s power.
Life is not simple. It is complex and difficult and beautiful.
The trick to life is learning to simplify it. To learn to recognize what is noise and what is useful.
I have known life without this formula and I have known life with the formula. I know that it is useful and it works.
It is not a silver bullet. It won’t save you or keep you in an eternal blissed-out state, but it will give you three things.
Mental fortitude
Physical fortitude
The ability to disidentify and separate your feelings from yourself.
You can have two parts of the formula and it will work. Hell one is better than none but three is a charm, a powerful stack that a good life can be built on.
The techniques and methods are beyond the scope of this post. Perhaps I will talk about them another time.
