The way we pursue happiness.

For example, the Way the Left saw Trump.

Trump was elected by people tired of the same old, same old, get nothing done in the government’s leadership, and the country needed to wake up.

Making Change

In all production systems, there are two types of change for improvement.

• When a process works well and gets a quality product out the door, the changes are minute to improve production. Since our quality systems were adopted from the Japanese, we adopted the name they used for quality changes. These “mild and continual improvement changes” are called “Kaizen.”
• When a process cannot produce the quality desired after many Kaizen changes, the entire process goes through a “Kaikaku” change, known to us in the west as “radical change.”

Trump Was the Kaikaku Man

All those who voted for Trump were looking for a significant nonpolitical change. The Democrats and the Republicans did not like Trump; people did.

What happened was that the radical left woke up, and as soon as the midterm gave them the House, they started a “radical change” of their own and tried to annul the president any way they could. The people followed Pelosi. The attack lasted until the next election when swing voters against Trump, elected Biden.

As of July 2022, the Biden Administration’s most notable single deed is his incompetence as President. The list is too long to publish here, but a noteworthy series of decisions are in this MSN article. A do-nothing but hurt-the-people administration.

Alexandr Solzhenitsyn’s prescient thoughts in 1978 said it best in a compelling commencement speech at Harvard University:

“In today’s Western society the inequality has been revealed [in] freedom for good deeds and freedom for evil deeds. A statesman who wants to achieve something important and highly constructive for his country has to move cautiously and even timidly. There are thousands of hasty and irresponsible critics around him; parliament and the press keep rebuffing him. As he moves ahead, he has to prove that each single step of his is well-founded and absolutely flawless. Actually, an outstanding and particularly gifted person who has unusual and unexpected initiatives in mind hardly gets a chance to assert himself. From the very beginning, dozens of traps will be set out for him. Thus, mediocrity triumphs with the excuse of restrictions imposed by democracy.”

Trump paid a very high price for his daring and straightforward approach; thus, as Solzhenitsyn said, “mediocrity triumphed with the excuse of restrictions imposed by democracy.” the word “mediocrity” applied to Biden is too kind. In his case, it is “incompetence.”

Was the Radical Change Transformational?

Yes, compared to where we are now in total debt, printing money without worth, thus, running the highest inflation in 30 years!

Similarly, as Solzhenitsyn said about the western countries’ expectation of convergence with the Soviet Union:

“It is a soothing theory which overlooks the fact that these worlds are not at all developing into similarity. Neither one can be transformed into the other without the use of violence. Besides, convergence inevitably means acceptance of the other side’s defects, too, and this is hardly desirable.”

Today, we are doing that with CHINA!

With the election of Trump, we tripped a wire. We brought to light the political chasm in our country at all levels and the opposing biases between the political parties. Despite our country’s simple foundational assumption, “the decision-making in Congress is based on all the elected officials working together.” Why the assumption? Because the decision of many is better than the decision of ONE (in the Executive office). In our case today, the “biased majority” decides for the “apparent detriment” of the other. The article “The Government is Ruling with the Articles of the Confederacy” was written. This is WHY THE CONSTITUTION WAS WRITTEN.

Individual Rights and Individual Obligations

Solzhenitsyn went beyond that and predicted what happened based on how he understood the West:

“It is feasible and easy everywhere to undermine administrative power, and in fact it has been drastically weakened in all Western countries. The defense of individual rights has reached such extremes as to make society as a whole defenseless against certain individuals. It’s time, in the West — It is time, in the West, to defend not so many human rights as human obligations.”

Today, it is not really “the defense of individual powers” but “the defense of social control.” We are now paying with our pocketbook for that “mediocrity” because “WE” continually refuse “our obligations.” Mainly to set up “responsible governments.”

Definition: Responsible Government — One that lives within our income without running impossible debts. (STOP the WELFARE STATEHOOD).

So what we have today in government is something destructive for the country. Two parties, not working together for us but pitted against each other and killing our economy through inflation, created by printing money we don’t have; everybody is paying for these mistakes.

May 2020, M2 consists of M1 plus (1) small-denomination time deposits (time deposits in amounts of less than $100,000) less IRA and Keogh balances at depository institutions; and (2) balances in retail MMFs less IRA and Keogh balances at MMFs. Seasonally adjusted M2 is constructed by summing savings deposits (before May 2020), small-denomination time deposits, and retail MMFs, each seasonally adjusted separately, and adding this result to seasonally adjusted M1.
