First Date Excitement At Age 15 Years

My First Date

Delaney Patterson is a nosy little thing. She wants to hear all about your first date. (And, so do I!)

I didn’t know there were so many nosy people on The Challenge. My first date was really not very exciting, but I will tell you about it. I went to a school dance with a boy name Mike. I believe I was 15-years-old. We didn’t drive at that age.

One thing I remember was trying to figure out what to wear because I wanted to look good. I know I wore a cashmere sweater my mom got me for Christmas.

We walked to the dance, and we did not even hold hands. It was our first and only date. I do not remember a lot about the dance, but I know I had a good time. I think we did the Twist and probably some other dances. We danced a few times, and had some refreshments. I know we laughed a lot, and it was fun. Most of my girlfriends were there too.

Mike and I did walk home holding hands, but there was not a goodnight kiss. We were friends but we never went on any more dates. While I liked him as a friend, I really did not want to go on another date. I think I was too young even though I know I liked boys.

When I turned 16 years old I went on some dates with boys who could drive. We went to movies or dances a few times. I went on a blind date once, but never again! I didn’t have any serious relationships at that age. I wish I had something risque to share for you nosy people.
