The truth is, writing every day is important. But if you peg it around the wrong reason, you will soon give it up. It won’t last and so can’t build a reputable career on a system that you can’t rely on.
After doing it for the wrong reasons, that nearly led to losing my mind I finally settled for one that has kept me sane and has inspired my creativity for a sustained period.
Here is it: every word you write, every sentence you construct, every paragraph you build makes you a better writer.
I wished I knew this earlier. But it is never too late. There are no coincidences or mistakes with life. For that reason, I am equally grateful to know it now.
Write every day for your self-improvement.
The reality is that doing anything for a personal reason is stronger and more empowering. Writing every day is no different.
That is your part of your personal development as a writer. Many writers have recorded a major transformation through this daily exercise. And you can too.
All you need to do is peg it around to the right motivation.
A word of caution: you should never peg that exercise around money. And that mistake and it nearly led to losing my mind. You don’t need to experience it yourself — you may not recover from it.
