Finding Data Sauces
SQL Statements or SQL Skewers?

In my line of work, my team is tasked with creating reports, some of which are the TPS variety. The hardest part of this whole equation, as any analyst knows, is capturing the data in the first place, especially when not everything we do is in the realm of bits and bytes.
Finding where and how to collect data can be more laborious than any other step and if the longevity of the final report is short then the work becomes as futile as moving sand with a sifter. So how then can my team go from yawn to yum?
By seeking data sauces, not data sources. We’ve had it all wrong. While other departments are having potlucks, we’ve been missing out. We have coding recipes galore but the data was always flat. Now with a little imagination, we can have delicious hot sliced and diced data.
Please have a seat at our TABLE. Today’s menu starts with a salad of FIELD greens followed by your choice of CHAR broiled ground ROUND or fresh CODD. You may select a wine from our exclusive BIN and for dessert there is FOREIGN KEY Lime PI which will be ready as soon as it is SET. You can then SUM up the evening with lemon DROP martini served with a FLOAT of triple sec.
Your SERVER will be with you shortly to take your ORDER which I am sure you will LIKE.
