The days follow as such:

- Day Three: Time Blocks, What Are They, How Many For the Quarter?
- Day Four: Your Outcome Goals, Brainstorming Goals, and Choose Only Three
- Day Five: Projects! So Much More Than Mini Goals, These Have Due Dates
- Day Six: Kanban Board Set Up and Adding Your Tasks
- Day Seven: Continuation, Planner Use of the Week and Dailies
Day 3: Time
This is where we started figuring out how much time we have in a given quarter. This part was harder, as I really needed to focus on what we plan to be doing over the next three months. I know now we will still be in Nevada for July and probably August, and start traveling towards the end of August, to enjoy September and October with family, friends and more. At the same time, I still plan to work during those traveling days, but I decided to be more realistic with weekends as it seems more people are on the road.
Day 4: Goals
Yowzah! This day came, and I was ready. I had already sort of figured out my goals with Cultivate What Matters, (CWM) Lara Casey’s 50 pages of figuring your goals.
As seen in this article:
But there, she uses Goals and mini-Goals, then tasks but not Goals, Projects, and Tasks. She is all about your total life, not just your career or writing. With CWM, I had 9 goals, which is way too many.
This day really helped me dig deep, and figure out the Outcome Goals, “the measurable outcomes you want to achieve by the end of the quarter by executing a series of projects.”

Day 5: Projects
I spent a good day writing, listening, and understanding the parts to a project. I think I had been making these my goals, but they are not. They are going to be separated down into tasks ultimately, but for now, the most important part that I found extremely helpful, is when do you work and when do you have time for each goal?
You look at the entire quarter, you figure out your days, roughly, and you add a bit of buffer zone, for that just in case time. I color-coded this and set realistic time limits for myself. I am feeling pretty good about it.
Below is a video of the three days showing the time, goals, and projects, with the continuation explained.
