Fields of Plenty
Trust there is enough

While the scarecrow leans in golden sheaf —
and summer looms from horizon’s tip —
the farmer rests upon his shovel,
fearless.
As not every seed will sprout or plant will flourish,
but enough exists within the harvest’s reach to satiate the flow:
To tend keen mouths and light the dawn ablaze with plenty.
