I have been writing on Medium for a few months now, and I have learned a lot from this platform.

I have also earned some money from my stories, which is always a nice bonus. But nothing prepared me for what happened in January.

I wrote a story titled “I Made $109.88 in 30 Days Writing on Medium — Here’s How”.

It was a simple and honest account of my earnings, my strategy, and my tips for other writers.

I shared it on some Facebook groups where I interact with other Medium writers, and I also engaged with their stories.

To my surprise, my story went viral.

It got over 2700 claps, 44 comments, 337 views and 208 reads. I earned $18.70 from this story that is highest one.

It was also shared by many other writers on their social media accounts.

Why did this happen? I think there are a few reasons. First, people are curious about how much you can make from Medium.
