Feeling The Energy Of The Ocean
Beach Life — Digital Nomad Style

You might have heard about earthing.
Earthing or grounding involves connecting the body directly to the Earth’s surface, helping the human body stay strong, heal, and even reduce inflammation.
We often wear shoes with plastic soles, cutting off the energy flow and making us weaker. The frequency in the plastic fabric is only about 10 or 15, the same frequency as a dying person. This is why good shoes made of organic materials can be beneficial for us. Besides, anything plastic is not good for the environment either.
However, we sometimes cannot escape societal habits and end up in Nike, Adidas, or other plastic shoes.
Earthing can help balance the electrons in our bodies.
The theory is that direct physical contact with the Earth gives the body the chance to receive electrons, thus balancing the electrical charge. I have seen documentaries about earthing with amazing results. People who practice earthing regularly claim better sleep, improved body pain, and an overall heightened sense of vitality.
Earthing is great, and my favourite form of earthing is going into the ocean or for a simple beach walk with my feet slightly in the water.

The wet sand and the salty seawater are conductive, allowing the transfer of electrons from the Earth to your body, creating a magical experience.
For the past few days, I have been living in an apartment just 2 minutes from the beach and have visited the beach every day since my arrival. I feel refreshed and alive after going into the ocean and being fully immersed in Gaia and the ocean.
When I was a kid, my only wish was to have at least one holiday near the ocean. I grew up in southern Germany and Austria, where the ocean is not readily accessible due to geographical location and financial challenges. Often, I was unable to see the ocean for a few years.
I dreamed of living near the ocean all my life, and now, in my early 40s, I have succeeded.
My two kids can grow up near the beach and experience it daily if they like. The feeling of going into the ocean and swimming in the same water as other mighty creatures of this beautiful world is always an incredible experience.
The energy gained from simply swimming in the ocean is magical. The saltwater on your skin, the fresh wind in your hair — this is life.
I’m very grateful for this achievement in my life. After 7 years of intense travelling and moving countries, I might have found a place I want to call home long-term. Of course, I will still travel a lot, but it wouldn’t hurt to have a fixed home base so that I can always come back and regain energy for the next adventure.
