Feeling Stuck In A Rut? You Won’t Be After Reading This.
Your Weekly Dose of Motivation

It’s Time To Get F*cking Motivated!
- Discipline = pain, which is why most people default to staying average. Execute discipline repeatedly, and the pain eventually dissipates. Strengthening your relationship with discomfort is one of the best ways to improve self-discipline (Peter Collins).
- NYU Professor Peter Gollwitzer conducted four studies involving 63 subjects and found that those who kept their goals private were more likely to achieve them than those who told people about them. Keep your goals to yourself.
- Worried about your karma? Put more positive energy, good, and kindness into the world.
- If you’re intimidated by a subject, start educating yourself on it. The more you educate yourself on the subject, the less intimidated you will be by the subject. You might even fall in love with the topic. It happened to me more than twice.
- If you pre-order technology (e.g., iPhones), video games, clothes, shoes, and cars, then you can pre-order your financial freedom by investing.
- Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense (Ralph Waldo Emerson).
- Be yourself; everyone else is already taken (Oscar Wilde).
- Strengthening your relationship with discomfort is one of the best ways to improve self-discipline (Peter Hollins).
- Observe the comings and goings of your urges, temptations, and impulses; doing so will allow them to lose much of their power to influence your behavior negatively.
- Often, a prudent way to diffuse a situation is to show love.
- How people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours (Wayne W. Dyer).
- Exercising discipline quite literally trains your brain to default to a mode of perseverance (Peter Hollins).
- Here’s the one way to make your dreams a reality: consistent action.
- Feeling low or depressed? Write down 20 things to be grateful for today. Still feeling low or depressed? Write down 20 more things. It’s impossible to remain down when you’re soaking in gratitude.
- If you think to yourself, “I can’t do this.” Think of 20 ideas you could implement to make it possible. Keep writing 20 ideas each day until you find the ONE way to make your “can’t” a possibility. Most things are possible. You just got to make it happen.
- Is our past a mistake? No. The only mistake we can make is mistaking that for the truth (Melody Beattie). We don’t have the power to change our pasts, but we DO have the power to create our futures. Now, go do it!
- Those who exalt themselves shall be humbled. Those who humble themselves shall be exalted (The Great Book).
- What area in your life can you make one small change in today?
- When you want to give in to an unproductive habit or negative impulse, wait 10 minutes. Then wait another 10 minutes. Then another. Keep waiting until you forget about the impulse. Train your mind and actions to be disciplined.
- CREATE your opportunities.
- Sacrifice is the key to limitless success.
- Be who you aspire to be.
- Did you know when your mind tells you that you’re physically and emotionally maxed out, you’ve only reached 40% of your potential? Meaning you haven’t tapped into the other 60%, leaving a lot of untapped potential leftover (Peter Hollins).
- Public habits are harder to break.
- Write down your goal first, then plan. Many goals seem unachievable until you start planning.
- At a certain point, money almost ceases to matter. It seems that being invested in accomplishing a [worthy] goal proves to be a more sustainable and effective driver in the long term (Peter Hollins).
- Keep giving. It always finds its way back to you.
- Read to get inspired.
- Accomplishing your dreams isn’t always a beautiful process.
- Never Miss Twice: Never go two days in a row where you are not improving mentally and physically. Never go two days in a row where you don’t chase your dreams. We all fall short sometimes but never do it twice in a row (Philosopher Paco).
- Foresight without action is meaningless.
- Control your perceptions.
- When you love yourself, you set yourself up to be loved by others.
- The purity of silver and gold is tested by putting them in the fire. The purity of human hearts is tested by giving them a little fame [or money] (Proverbs 27:21 MSG).
- How much of your time do you invest in reading and self-education? Education is freedom. Applied knowledge is power.
- Let go of your mistakes. Let go of your past. Let go of your regrets. You can’t change any of it. You CAN change your future, though. Now GO change it.
- Is it still New Year’s? You bet it is. Happy New Year! Wishing everyone a grand entrance into 2022 filled with possibility, new beginnings, grace, favor, positive change, and bold opportunities.🥂 Release the old. Welcome the new. Forgive and practice letting go daily. Accept responsibility for who and where you are in life. Take advantage of a fresh start. Move through your fears. Release the things, people, thinking patterns, and habits holding you back. It starts now.
- Sometimes you don’t get what you want for a really long time. Then, when you finally get it, you realize it does not belong in your life.
- You won’t always feel ready to take on the world. You won’t always love your job. You won’t always be optimistic. You won’t always have a positive attitude. You won’t always be grateful. You won’t always eat healthily. You won’t always work out. You won’t always be kind. You won’t always be giving. You won’t always be forgiving. You won’t always be loving. You won’t always be sure of yourself. You won’t always believe in yourself. You won’t always believe in others. But you will always be capable of being and doing all of these things.
- It’s OKAY to take breaks at times in a relationship. It reminds you whether you desire to stay or need to go. Space equals clarity.
- Say these words aloud: My past can no longer stop me.
- Silence is a gift. Cherish it. There are many ideas, epiphanies, and much clarity found within it. Tranquility is sweet.
- Guess what I will be reading for the 6th year in a row? “The Daily Stoic” by Ryan Holiday // Game changer. This daily meditative book should be your first pit stop if you want to change your life, thinking, habits, unproductive opinions, and beliefs. A more stoic life is a better life.
- “When your inner and out worlds harmonize, your relationships do too.” -Yogi
- It’s easy to write people off. It’s hard to give people chances.

- What would you do if you weren’t afraid?
- Women do not owe men beauty. The only person you owe anything to is yourself: to be the best you can be holistically. Don’t let men, society, nor fleeting physical attributes determine your worth. You are priceless, darling.
- At first, there is frustration and discouragement; after a while, though, you get better, imagine a possible future, and start to completely fall for the art and love it.
- Words I told myself days before I turned 20… Don’t let your emotions get the best of you. Always remember, strive to be the best, never quit, never accept defeat, always be thankful, and never stop smiling.
- Where there is a lack of motivation..think of the end goal, think of the end destination, think of the future consequences, think of the man/woman/other in the mirror…
- Never make big decisions before bed. Clarity (usually) comes after a night of rest.
- Blank calendars are a trap. If you don’t have meetings or appointments, still block your calendar with what you plan to do. If you don’t, others will take control of your time.
- In 12 months, you can become an entirely different person. In 12 months, you can accomplish the goals you set for yourself before the year started. What are your goals and the changes you desire to make in your life? Don’t squander this next 12 months. Maximize them.
- Embrace people who are wiser than you. Eliminate your ego, and learn from them. Then, immediately implement the wisdom you acquired from them to elevate your life.
