Feeling Lost

We can’t apprehend

Discomfort The blindness of our soul Fear Sadness All and all And even what we don’t know about

Ourselves And the connections we avoid Nothingness And the darkness of our mind All take us to our lost selves

We can’t even see ourselves well Feel right why we’re failing Let alone finding one other

Sometimes, we go over our true self It skips We can’t apprehend But we should Until we are found We’ll all feel lost

Times and times I believe We could be better But I can’t grasp The steps And the changes we should implement

I once thought We should get right where it started Scrutinize every step we took Remember well what we overlooked Retake the paths again But better And more firmly

But I know We can’t Too much time we’d lose Too many won’t understand We won’t be able to find the lost pieces They mingled together and with some alien ones Therein we should live, themselves behind Refind our new selves Go on, fly, till we die
