So many posts and so many minds: I have found that a significant number of content creators are disappointed. It is, obviously, because they are not making enough money writing on Medium. Joining the Medium Partner Program is now a dream for everyone. I know it is worth it even if you have opposite opinions.

Don’t Quit Medium And Read This

Now listen to me; why did you come on this site? To make money or to build an audience? Do you think you can become rich overnight? If you read the success stories of top freelance writers and thought it would be easy to earn lots of money, you were wrong.

Medium does not owe you or me anything. They pay us only when paid members or subscribers read our content. For this, we need to gain followers and keep showing up no matter how difficult things get.

You cannot blame Medium or another person or platform if you are not providing value to the reader. Starting today, you should change the way you write and publish content. Try changing your target audience if you are not getting the desired results. Another idea is to self-publish if you have been working with some major Medium publications. Maybe, this will bring in the money you have been expecting for some time.

Other than this, the length of your story will affect the reader’s experience. If your work is too lengthy but fails to provide some value to the reader, you may only get a few views and thus enough money can never be made. Compared to this, if you write 400 to 600 words and every sentence offers something outstanding to the reader, you will surely get enough views. The chance is that Medium curators will pick your article up for further distribution.

There is no need to quit. There is no need to spend restless nights. There is also no need to get upset when you make a few pennies per month. Things can change anytime. Medium may give you a bonus. Anything can happen and everything can turn in your favor if you stay stuck with Medium and show consistency and patience.
