Feel good about yourself

Last night I was in the living room watching TV and I decided it was time for a haircut. Since I was little, I have had the trauma of having my hair cut at the hairdresser, I thought that every time I went to the salon that I came from there ugly, instead of beautiful, so I created an image of myself as beautiful with long hair. And the hair really suits me.

However, as I’ve grown up I’ve been gaining courage and cutting my hair at home, I cut it by the shoulders myself. Surprisingly, I’ve come to enjoy seeing how I look with short hair, I feel lighter, more youthful, and even just as beautiful. The image we create of ourselves is often in our heads.

We shape our thoughts and we are often responsible for liking of ourselves.

I think a lesson we should all learn is that first we have to like ourselves and then beauty is just in our head as goals of perfection and improvement.
