Fear
A Mental Health Poetry

Fear fastens around, Your neck like a, Proverbial noose also, Providing you an excuse.
The first part of fear, Is the evident inaction, That it produces inside, The human that holds it.
The next part is where, The human is glad for it, For they don’t have to leave, Their own comfort zone.
Fear feeds on you, It throttles your adrenaline, Flight/fight/freeze, The three options with you.
While most unfortunate choosing flight, The less fortunate choosing freeze, The most fortunate fight, Those are the humans that define.
The way the world, Will mould around us all, How it will fruition, What it will fruition.
So leave fear, Fight the flight/freeze, Response inside you, Learn to fight.
For fighting against, Your primal instincts, Makes you a better human, Makes you a great human.
