Farewell Never Lover

A poem on releasing that which was never found.

We’ve walked this road before. Searching. Looking. Secrets hidden within secrets. Racing to find solitude. For quiet. Peace.

Remaining still a mystery. Tingling from a memory. We reach, we seek, we plead for solace. Slipping from our grasp. Never there. Always there.

Loving still the same.
