Families will not be able to enjoy their annual holiday tradition of selecting delicious homemade cookies during the cookie walk.

The pandemic has made it dangerous for families to attend a cookie walk this year. Opportunities to take a stroll around festive tables displayed with dozens of delightful cookies filled scrumptious aromas must be postponed. It is unsafe for cookies to be openly exhibited for family members to select their own to add to their containers. Many organizations who have hosted a cookie walk in the past are now offering alternatives. Some encourage families to purchase prepackaged cookies online so that they are picked up at a designated time while others are selling cookbooks filled with holiday cookie recipes.
