Falling Rain Helps Me Think
Every Idea Surfaces that was near the Brink
Does falling rain help you to think? Does it put you into a meditative state? I like to listen to the sound of falling rain, It takes me back in time to years gone by, It brings back old memories to the surface. The soft sound of falling rain reminds me, That though I am in the present, I am still connected to the past.
Every idea that was once near the brink, Seems to come to my mind once again. Falling rain in the city helps me to think, About the new ideas waiting to come forth, About the new creative ways of writing, Bringing imagination to go out dancing.
Every idea is like a delicate rain drop, That is ready to dissolve into water, If not collected and held in a cup or glass. Every new idea is so delicate and rare, It can create a story beyond compare.
Falling rain helps me to think and imagine, New ideas for stories, articles and poems. The sound of the rain brings new ideas to the surface, They bubble and the level rises to the brink. Will I take these ideas and work on them? Will I allow these delicate ideas to rise and sink?
