I Deeply Miss Role Playing With My (Ex) Boyfriend

I’m currently on a relationship break. It has everything to do with my boyfriend being a hardcore workaholic and nothing to do with who he is as a person.

I miss him.

Because he’s kind and sweet, and most of all instinctively knew how I love to play the “imagine” game.

I’m a writer, I love to create scenarios. And he plays along.

It’s wonderful to see how a seemingly mundane thing like queueing up to use the porta-potty at an event can become interesting and sexy with imagination.

We’d imagine where the people ahead of us were thinking and make up dialogues to go along.

We’d even role-play.

A fun way to break up routines and infuse excitement!

Does distance make the heart grow fonder, I wonder, or is it just an attack of the ‘could have beens’?
