Eye Products That Will Make Your Lashes Look Amazing

If you want all eyes on you, then you need to start with your own

I’m a makeup and skincare addict. There’s nothing I enjoy more than browsing beauty stores and testing their array of foundations, concealers, lip glosses, and blushes.

However, the whole mask-wearing thing (that’s saving our lives, by the way) puts a damper on my enthusiasm to purchase the great new products I research.

However, masks don’t usually cover the eyes, so these days that’s where I’m spending my beauty bucks.

And if you’re a boss at wearing falsies, you’re ahead of the game. They’re all the rage right now, and they can certainly give your eyes center stage if you know how to apply them properly.

But if you have butterfingers like me, the result is not so fabulous.

That’s why my focus is on making my own lashes look more amazing.

And the products I’ve found for gorgeous lashes work miracles, but some of them come with a hefty price tag. However, several cheaper alternatives can still go a long way towards making your eyes pop. I’ll tell you about both.

Obagi Nu-Cil™ Eyelash Enhancing Serum

For those of you who are willing to shell out big money, one of the best eyelash enhancing products on the market is Nu-Cil Eyelash Enhancing Serum by Obagi.

Carrying a hefty price tag of one-hundred and twenty dollars, this serum works on lengthening the anagen phase of the lash cycle. The product does so using what they call “NouriPlex Technology,” a blend of powerhouse ingredients such as Biotin, Panthenol, Sodium Hyaluronate, and various lipids.

Though longer lashes can be seen earlier, the company states you should see full results around sixteen weeks.

Look at the company’s before and after photos. You’ll definitely see the difference the serum can make in your lashes. I use it myself, and I can tell you firsthand the results are unbelievable. As a matter of fact, people ask me all the time if I’m wearing fake lashes.

Revitalash Advanced Eyelash Conditioner and Serum

Labeled by InStyle as one of the best beauty buys of 2020, Revitalash Advanced Eyelash Conditioner and Serum uses the magic of peptides, biotin, and green tea extract to plump up your lashes and help prevent breakage. Not only does this good for your lashes serum make your lashes longer and stronger, but it also curls them due to the product’s “proprietary BioPeptin Complex.” With its lash enhancing, breakage stopping, curl increasing powers, the serum’s one hundred and fifty dollar price tag seems steep. However, the truth is it gets you a six-month supply, which averages out to only twenty-five dollars a month.

GrandeLASH™ — MD Lash Enhancing Serum

If you want to have attention-grabbing lashes but don’t have the cash for high-end lash treatments, google your favorite beauty store or click on Amazon and grab a tube of GrandeLASH-MD Lash Enhancing Serum. For sixty-five dollars, this serum can add length and fullness to your natural lashes. It’s packed with a bevy of amino acids, vitamins, and botanical products that work to strengthen lashes and lessen brittleness. The company explains that though you’ll probably begin to see results within four to six weeks, maximum results usually take around three months. Shape magazine mentions that the product has been given almost five-thousand five-star ratings on Amazon, which doesn’t usually happen with products that don’t deliver.

Pronexa Hairgenics Lavish Lash

Top beauty publication Byrdie swears that Pronexa Hairgenics Lavish Lash is a lash-enhancing buy that won’t disappoint. Much like Grande-LASH, its creators cite that the secret to the product’s power is largely due to botanical compounds and peptides that permeate hair follicles to produce note-worthy lashes in as little as sixty days. The serum costs just under twenty-five dollars and has over forty-seven thousand views on Amazon, most of which sing the praises of the serum’s power. What’s even better, for those of you who have sensitive eyes, the product is “hypoallergenic, non-irritating, clinically tested, allergy tested, and dermatologist tested.”

Cheaper (but still effective) drugstore favorites

According to Elite Daily, the best drugstore eyelash serum is Maybelline Lash Sensational Boosting Eyelash Serum. Two of the best things about this product (besides its impressive ingredients list of vitamin B5, arginine, and hyaluronic acid) are its ten-dollar price tag its ability to also be used as a lash primer. Boasting four and a half stars from eighty-two thousand nine hundred and twenty reviews, I’d say it’s worth a PB and J sandwich night instead of pizza delivery.

The bottom line:

So, yes, put a few dollars aside for the day you can sport that miracle high-end foundation (God I hope that day is soon), but right now, spend your money making the frames for those beautiful baby blues (or greens, or browns, or hazels) look extra sensational.
