Eye of the Soul

Poem

Silhouettes along an inner horizon dance a strange new dance on the tidal waves, in the incessant, undulating whirl of the instant which, like an extended now, reaches the eye of the soul in my innermost sky every time I see it open up to the world, to the face of god behind my own, like an ever-blooming fractal, a golden brisé fan with threads of light cast in all directions, in all dimensions that previously turned my world of thought away, but as of now no longer hinder my clearest, most lucid thoughts from witnessing them, beyond their own limited boundaries: my sight and insight mirroring all of me here in all of me there — a single reality’s absolute presence in the now, in each and every shivering moment, then as well as later — simultaneously! for my undivided attention to follow as far as time extends.

Siluetter längs en inre horisont dansar en ny märklig dans på tidvågorna, i det oavbrutet böljande ögonblicksbruset som likt ett utsträckt nu når själsögat på min innersta himmel varje gång jag ser det öppna sig för världen, för gudsansiktet bakom mitt eget, som en evigt utblommande fraktal, en gyllene solfjäder med ljustrådar utkastade åt alla håll, i alla dimensioner som tidigare vänt min tankevärld ryggen, men som nu inte längre kan hindra mina klaraste, mest upplysta tankar från att bevittna dem, utanför sina egna begränsade ramar: jag ser och inser att allt här är som allt där — en enda verklighets absoluta närvaro i nuet, i varje enskilt vibrerande ögonblick, då som sedan — samtidigt! för min odelade uppmärksamhet att följa så långt tiden räcker.
