This dream was very weird, in that it started off a magazine article. I was reading in the dream an article in the style of Harper’s Magazine or The Atlantic. The article was about a company whose product was a kind of computerized harness for hawks that allowed you to extend the training of the hawk and better integrate human / hawk interaction.

In the article it talks about something it calls oath immersion which is basically just normal behaviorism type of thing where the animal has been trained to respond to these voice commands/stimuli, but in this case the range is increased because of course the human can say something and the harness delivers it. Then I saw a video that I guess was embedded in the article — the trainer gives a command indicating an area the hawk is supposed to strike at to get another bird,

At this point I — the dreaming mind reading the article, was thinking about how the same tech might apply to training dogs, cats and even crows.
