Exposure Introduces Medium Fiction Writer: J. Salvatore Domino
Writing stories for your imagination

This is my introductory post to Exposure. Exposure was created by Justiss Goode as a newsletter for Medium writers who author fictional stories. Writers of fiction have long been treated as second-class citizens on Medium and can certainly use more Exposure.
In this article, I will answer the top ten questions that have been on your mind since I joined Medium in 2021. I hope it will provide a little insight into me as a writer and member of the community. In the future, I will offer additional articles to keep you updated on my work and that of other fiction writers here on Medium.
So, without further ado…
I AM a Medium Fiction Writer.
I publish all of my work, both fiction and non- fiction under the name:
J. Salvatore Domino
You can find me easily by going to my page at: jdomino.medium.com
As a writer of both fictional stories and opinion pieces on Medium, I work hard not to become too predictable. One entry may be a heartwarming story about my beloved dog, or another a satire on “How I achieved brilliance in a short period of time.”
When I am not on Medium, I am busy with my other writing projects.
I have published six fiction books including two Crime Fiction novellas, The DiMarco Incident and The Hard Place. For a fun quick read you can enjoy my Cybercrime mini-series The Algorithm Man.

All are available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple, and other digital book suppliers.
I have been in love with fiction writing since…
I started writing fiction after I became bored with “How To” articles.
In 2018 I published my first Cybercrime ebook. And have never looked back. Instead, I am looking forward to my next opportunity to steal you away from your daily routine.
Before Medium, my fiction writing consisted of
In a previous life, I wrote technical documents. I didn’t want my legacy to be “The proper way to fill out IRS Form 8880.”
Before joining Medium in 2021 wrote blog posts on several business-related blogging sites. A few years ago, I began to write short stories, finally graduating to my independently published novellas.
Why I Chose Medium?
Simple. I was seeking more exposure for my work. I want to develop an audience of readers who enjoy a short escape from reality. Medium is also a great place to learn from like-minded individuals.
My favorite Fiction Genres are:
Flash Fiction and Cozy Mysteries. I write about real people facing real-life situations. People that may or may not have been a part of my life.
I have written some erotic romance but as of yet unpublished.
The biggest challenges to my fiction writing, on Medium?
The Medium algorithm does not favor fiction writers or even storytellers.
It seems to like current events, “how-to” articles, and Listicles. I hope that changes.
What am I working on now?
I always have several stories in progress depending on my mood. I have about 3 or 4 in draft form right now.
Keep your eyes open for an upcoming article:
“The PenIs Mightier Than The Sword”,
I think it is going to be a good one.
What’s next for J. Salvatore?
I have a full-length novel titled Saint Joseph in its final editing stages.
It is a wonderful Upmarket Fictional story about an Investigative Journalist and the challenges he faced on the road to international acclaim. I am querying Literary Agents as we speak.
I am building my ARC team, for Saint Joseph so if you would like to read an advance copy let me know.
Here is one of the cover art designs in the running for final production.

Editorial Comments
Exposure is pleased as punch to give J. Salvatore a big warm welcome!
What’s up dude! Can’t you just feel his energy seeping through the page readers? I know I can.
Clearly this Medium fiction writer knows what he’s doing when it comes to making his work shine! Like all members listed in the Exposure directory, J. Salvatore completed the standard Questionnaire that we required him to submit.
But being the super creative individual that he is, he went a step further with his answers and layout, to really let us see who this super talented guy is.
So let’s be sure to follow him and his continued progress, and support him wherever we find his work online. JUSTISS GOODE
