Exploring The Joys Of Travel

Dancing Elephants Press Weekly Prompt 37 of 52

One of the most exciting aspects of travel is exploring new places, cultures, and environments. Travel allows us to discover the beauty and diversity of our world. It gives us a chance to visit interesting historical landmarks. We are able to see vibrant cities and sometimes venture into untouched natural landscapes.

When I visited Varanasi in India, I discovered that the banks of the Ganges had been cleaned and beautified with amazing paintings and murals. The art was such a pleasure to view I was inspired and quickly took a picture of it.

The experience of being with friends was very rewarding. We found new places to eat, Lovely places to visit and we bonded over a period of three days we spent the whole day chit-chatting and knowing more about each other.

Look at the photo above. It is a tribute to the Ganges. The art work is amazing. The stairs are the temple of Kashi a landmark that is known as one of the oldest seats of learning in the world. It had the most renowned priests.

Then I read Elvie Lins beautiful post in response to prompt 36 of 52 and I realized that we have yet to have a prompt on travel. Travel makes her heart flower.

I invite you to write your experience in any place that you have traveled and enjoyed.

You could write about your experience:

— with the culture of the place you visited. How it provided you with an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of traditions, customs, languages, festivals, and cuisines.

• You Stepped outside your comfort zone and experienced new things during travel leading to significant personal growth.
• You had several travel challenges when you visited a place.
• Your travel with friends, family, or even strangers created deep bonds and lasting memories.
• Your experiences, with your friends on adventures together, navigating through foreign lands, or simply spending quality time strengthening your relationships.

Besides the Ganges and the temples, we saw beautiful flowers decorated in the hotel that we stayed in. Here is a glimpse:
