PHOTOGRAPHY STORY
Captured Stills In An Alternate Timeline
where 1000 Words Are Shaded Within the Framed Moment
Amsterdam, 2017 (Photo by Author)
“A picture is worth a thousand words” — an English language adage.
To try something new in my writing, this is an attempt to speak in ‘with my taken pictures and associated thoughts’. I mean, the pictures should do the trick to express thousands words and I can add just a few words to fulfill it, right?
Here these goes:
A walk in the Graffiti Alley, Toronto, Canada — 2018 (Photo by Author)
Located at Toronto, Canada — the week-end tour took place back in 2018, with my wife. The vibrant colors, the ravishing nature of graffiti in the walls and the aroma of the restaurants nearby — all fulfilled a complete walk-tour.
Can you see the quotes, covering different aspects of life? Explore the wall, please.
Distillery district, Toronto, Canada — 2019 (Photo by Author)
This was taken on 2019 — during a night outing. Just beside the distillery bars, vintage items store and colorful sparks around, people were roaming around to spend the weekend that day.
Let’s put some light on the feeling, shall we?
Toronto city view, from Central Island — 2018 (Photo by Author)
Taken from the Central Island point, this tour was taken with my friend on 2018. The view covers Lake Ontario with the sparkling city, Toronto.
To be frank, this is probably one of the highest taken views of Toronto city from the Central Island and one of the remarkable sites to visit. You will see city part in your front and lush green background of trees, just beside you. A true contrast, isn’t it?
An early morning during Christmas time in Toronto, 2019 (Photo by Author)
My father-in-law dropped me in his car nearby my workplace at 6.20 am in the morning, on a Winter season in downtown Toronto. The reason for being that early drop-off: he was dropping-off my mother-in-law, my wife and me in different places in Toronto city on the same day at our workstations, before moving onto his workplace. Lucky us!
The streets were empty on the pre-Christmas eve time. The air was clear, the lights were bright, the mode was cheerful as it was the pre-Christmas time and the long vacation was due.
It was nearby the Yonge and Church street. I was shivering in cold and was in a desperate need of a large double double coffee from the nearby Tim Hortons.
And so, I walk(ed) a lonely road, in the morning breeze of a winter morning towards the coffee shop, after taking this blurred image on my Samsung phone with the bright lights in 2019 December.
These are unrelated pictures, but somehow brought me one thought: when I can explore again the places I love or like to discover? Seems like, time is moving at a slower speed right now. Patience!
Soon, the darkness will go away and the brighter light will shed its joyful color on the world. I am waiting for that day to come. I believe, you are too?
