Experience on Medium So Far

It’s been interesting…

Some long days and some long nights. I did a lot of reading and commenting, many days I was tired, but I said, “I will read one more article.” I’ve also written several articles.

Medium wasn’t my life until a few months ago. I had no idea and knew absolutely nothing about how the platform worked. I’m still learning. It’s been a stretch for me to write and publish and also read and then comment, especially on the same day. But I enjoy it.

There are some quirks, interesting data, and functionality when it comes to a writer’s statistics.

I want to be my authentic self here. I want to get feedback and comments that are helpful. I’m striving to develop. Writing is something I have always been interested in, but I never had the time to develop it. But now I have an environment where I can learn, post, and grow.

I have met a lot of great people. The community of people I interact with is fun and vibrant.

There are some intriguing writing trends. The repetitive article titles and content are always fun.

I said this in one of my other articles: I know that relationships with our fellow writers are important. We are here to not only receive but to build each other up. So, let’s keep building. Let’s keep growing together.

There’s so much to read and to learn. Many talented writers have written good articles. There are scammers who are very good at exaggerating, imitating, and duplicating. Not to mention the 100s of AI/chatGPT articles.

Overall, I am glad I found Medium.

I’m just getting started.
