- Weightlifting — 26.5%,
- Yoga — 20%,
- Bicycling — 15.8%,
- Running — 13.2%,
- Walking or hiking (9.6%) and climbing poles or ropes.
Hendrick calls the orgasm associated with doing core muscle exercises a ‘Coregasm.’ She says 40% of women experience this ‘Coregasm’.
One reason might be how exercise produces more nitric oxide in the blood vessels, according to Daniele Mollaioli of the University of Rome. Improved blood circulation helps women experience sexual pleasure during exercise.
Exercise also counters feelings of depression. It has a neurogenic effect on the brain as well — creating more neural connections in the brain.
Physical exercise significantly lessens forgetfulness, irritability, headaches, and vaginal dryness.
