Excuse Me, Madam, Did I Hear You Say That Comes With a Donkey?

I may have lost focus.

When Jacinta Palmer put out the call for a palate cleansing This or That challenge, I couldn’t resist. Admittedly, I got a little hung up on Barney the Purple Dinosaur versus dragons.

Again, when perusing donkey pics.

And we don’t need to talk about that Sidney Powell bit.

Now that I’m done and my palate is thoroughly cleansed, I’m good to do some reading. Yay!

1. Dystopian or Enchanted: Dystopian. No…wait. Okay. Yeah. Dystopian.
2. Vampire or Dragon: Animal lover — a dragon for sure. Unless it’s purple and takes to the song. Or is that moron a dinosaur? Then feed it to the vampire. Okay. So, dragon as long as it doesn’t sing. Wait. It can sing, but it needs to know more than one song. And no country. A dragon lamenting about it’s broken down Ford is just not cool.
3. Sword or Bolt of Fire from your Fingers: Finger bolts because I won’t lose that. I’m forgetful. I’d likely arrive at the battle and realize my sword was still on the southbound bus. That would be awkward.
4. Mind Reading or Crystal Ball: Mind reading…because same as the last answer.
5. Broomstick or Winged Creature: Winged creature, and I spent a disturbing amount of time considering that one. The hang up occurred when I considered having both a winged creature and a dragon may be problematic. Are they housebroken? Would they get along? So many questions.
6. Runes or Tarot Cards: Crap — who knew there would be so much stuff to misplace. Hmmm…Tarot Cards.
7. Under an Oath or Stolen Memories: What does that even mean? I’m going with Under an Oath — although — no, I got nothing.
8. Rainbow or Waterfall: Rainbow, because somewhere over it bluebirds fly. I love birds. Will my winged creature make it over said rainbow? I hope so. Damn — I hope it doesn’t eat birds. This is not going well.
9. Enchanted Object or Cursed Object: Cursed Object
10. Seer or Warlock: Warlock. Seers tend to get a lot of people dropping by without calling first. I hate that and also, kind of have full house what with all the winged creatures and dragons and whatnot.
11. Dungeon or Banishment: Banishment. Ever noticed how those banished guys always have a donkey? Love me a donkey. Do I get to take possession of my donkey at the time of banishment, or do I have to purloin my own? I say purloin because I assume that being exiled doesn’t involve a monthly stipend. Will my donkey be pre-named?

13. Portal or Time Travel: Portal. I’m already socially awkward. I can’t imagine travelling to a different time would improve matters.
14. Undiscovered or Forgotten: Undiscovered. To forget is human… And also seek, and ye shall find. From this, I conclude that if ‘it’ remained undiscovered, it was either extremely well hidden or never sought in the first place. Either way, far more interesting than something that so lacked appeal it was forgotten. Wait…where was it forgotten? Are we talking about my sword from the southbound bus? Perhaps, I’m overthinking this.
15. Enchanted to Sleep or Cursed to Ride: I have no desire to drag a horse into my cursed state, nor am I into motorcycles, soooo… Sleep it is.
16. Diary or Grimoire: Grimoire.
17. Kraken or Mermaid: Oh, without question, a mermaid. I don’t want to eat the long pig. Further, it goes without saying what a monumental piss-off it would be that my release be dependent on the likes of Sidney Powell.
18. Haunted or Re-programmed: Definitely haunted.
19. Historical or Future: Future — because hand washing is totally a thing now.
20. This World or Another Realm: Better the devil you know. This world.
