Examples of Faith: 4. Abraham: The Fight of Faith for Dominion
Will you dare to stand in Faith for the unknown, uncertain, and unpopular? Especially in the face of oppositions, simply because GOD says so?

By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.
By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, of whom it was said, “In Isaac your seed shall be called,” concluding that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead, from which he also received him in a figurative sense. (Hebrews 11:8–10, 17–19 NKJV)
1. Abraham’s Faith to venture into the unknown.
By Faith, Abraham believed God to leave his comfort zone, seen, rational, and easy life to an invisible, heavenly, and divinely managed lifestyle.
Forgoing the known for the unknown. Venturing into the spirit realm, judging the invisible God faithful to keep His word.
Even if at the risk of being in opposition to the world system, Abraham opted to believe God to keep and prosper him.
2. Abraham’s Faith to receive the Promise Land.
In spite of not so smooth journey to the promised God gave him; Abraham opted to live in tents and as a sojourner until the promise of God was fulfilled.
Even when it looked not like it, Abraham did not give up, in the face of oppositions to the promises of God in his life.
3. Abraham’s Faith to surrender even his son in Honour of God.
In our journey of faith, our loyalty and submissiveness will be tested. Placing God first may be blurred in the face of innermost desires and longings!
As God finally Blessed Abraham with a son after many years of waiting, this son, the proof of his journey with God, the evidence of his faith, had become an idol, a pride, a showoff, unknowingly!
To inherit the promise of God, God must be the first and the all. By faith, his loyalty was tested, and again, Abraham chose God over his own son, the proof of his many years of faith!
This singular action earned Abraham the Father of all nations!
4. Abraham received the promise of ‘Father of Faith.’
Abraham was made the father of all nations, for the walk of faith he exhibited with God.
God was moved by this and He proclaimed a Blessing upon Abraham through which all other men are to be Blessed! Today, we are all partaking of this Abrahamic Blessing through Jesus Christ.
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. (Galatians 3:13–14 NKJV)
5. Abraham’s Faith becomes the source of Blessing to the Whole World.
Today, all men are blessed and are to be blessed through the Faith of Abraham.
Therefore, it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all. (Romans 4:16 NKJV)
Will you dare to stand in Faith for the unknown, uncertain, and unpopular? Especially in the face of oppositions, simply because GOD says so?
Your FAITH is overcoming the world… Therefore, fight the good fight of Faith in that area of concern of your life.
