Newspaper and Magazines
Advertising has provided the results from its inception, be it in newspaper or television, they were the traditional click baits to engage readers with eye-catching captions and graphics.
Radio
One of the most annoying things was an advertisement when people were enjoying romantic numbers on Radio. There will be an irritating advertisement with music.
That was Radio advertising, a popular way to promote the products in locals, those ads are geo targetted.
Radio shows in the mornings earn a high amount of ads as they are popular as people turn it on during driving to the office.

They are an evergreen style of advertising. We had printed boards around us that has now transformed into an LED Board.

Digital as the word describes itself, bringing the entire world into your cellphone and laptops.
Earlier people had time, even watching ads was not painful, and people used to enjoy those ads with a runtime of 1 minute. But in this world, there is no time and patience in humans, so ads need to be a quick attention grabber creating more impressions in less time.
The largest social media platform, Started to post advertisements in the stories section as well as the news feed, videos, and banner ads.
Facebook took over Instagram in 2012, since then they are working hand in hand, later shows sponsored ads in Stories, and they make sure that ads are of very short durations with a link as the right customer can connect on tap from his fingers.
Youtube
They started with a single ad along with an option of skip ad, but when AdSense realized its true potential, they increased running multiple ads and no skip option in some only to gain the full attention of the viewer.
Blogs
Advertisement on blogs is the prime and one of the Prime sources of income for bloggers. It is also great and necessary to keep them motivated towards writing more.

Platforms like Adsense and Media net have provided a big push in the advertising field with native ads, banner ads that don’t make the site overburdened.
