Abstract

The article "Evidence Of A New Season" captures the essence of change and personal growth. It suggests that change is imminent and that stagnation leads to a lack of growth. The author feels a calling for change, likening it to a bend in a familiar road, and uses the metaphor of an agavé plant's flowering cycle to illustrate the beauty and necessity of transformation. The article encourages readers to position themselves for positive developments and draws a parallel between physical decluttering and achieving mental and emotional clarity.

Life is change. When we don’t change, we stand still. When that occurs, we don’t grow.

I’m feeling a nudge. Something is beckoning. Not so much a new road as it is a bend in the existing road. It’s been prefaced with general discontent for no apparent reason … until it dawned on me that that’s a clue, too!

And then another sign appeared: my largest agavé (century plant) is sending forth a stalk. It will stretch several feet tall, erupting in tiny yellow flowers. Bees will perform their pollination dance, kicking their feet amid the fragrant blossoms. A glorious symphony to behold!

The plant will then wither and die. Yet there will be little “pups”, or seedlings that take root. These offshoots will continue the cycle of life. And so it goes.

Position yourself for something wonderful to unfold!
